MITSUBISHI has announced the return of its special-edition Pajero RX to local showrooms, bringing a host of additional equipment over the entry-level Pajero GLX for just $1350 extra. Unlike the 3.2-litre diesel-only Pajero GLX, the Pajero RX – first launched here last November and now reintroduced on June 8 – is also available with a 3.8-litre petrol V6. Based on the Pajero GLX ($55,190 plus on-road costs), the RX adds 18-inch alloy wheels, front foglights, a rear spoiler, privacy glass, heated chromed door mirrors with integrated indicator and puddle lights, silver roof rails, a unique RX chromed grille, integrated side steps and front mudflaps, a chrome-highlighted bumper protector, a bonnet-mounted Mitsubishi badge and RX badging.
